Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His white fur is matted, messy, and big. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Trail does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Detective. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He is an epitome of beauty. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Kelter's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She uses divination through singing.

History: Sarai hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is red and curly. He is baby faced.

Personality: Caeldrim is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Caeldrim was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Caeldrim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and a deep hatred of goblins
