Bertram was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Body Guard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Pelt was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Pelt was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
