History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Helen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
