Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Quarethon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Born to a Mortician, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student she started as a Mortician, but she got bored and became a Scribe. She's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.
