History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Vonbin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Vonbin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Masseuse. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
