History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carter.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mardred grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she's looking for her big break

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
