History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Laborer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Gurdis was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
