Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Kaladan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Kaladan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Born in the south to a Ploughman, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
