Description: This northern man prefers to wear flannel. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is red and very short. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rurik grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rurik. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Ella took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Description: She wears a simple grey robe with green stripes complete with hood. She carries with her a set of morningstars on her belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. Her blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her eyes are violet.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Emeny was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her youth she was a Herbalist, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
