History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Dazzazn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sammal hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Sammal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
