Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Salanop's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Navigator. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
