Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a brown costume with the symbols of luck on her torso, and is pretty ugly. She has styled her golden hair well, parting it to the left. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady gray eyes.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She became a Carter soon after.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and further expansion of business

Description: She wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep black.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 16. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Damaia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Damaia was born with her mother's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Tiefling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He is dressed in an above average manner. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: Vassago is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Description: She wears tattered old clothes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'3" when asserting herself. She keeps her brown hair in a pixie cut. Her black eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed green hat.

Personality: Vepar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Vepar and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.
