History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a scythe, but if one is not available she will default to her mace, and is pretty ugly. Her white hair is braided into rings. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for her, and Joan does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Joan reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.
