History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chem grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Miller business.

History: Ahvain was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Herbalist but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her first spouse was a Junk Dealer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Armorer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mortician, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has money and likes to spend it
