Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Korfel's homeland. Korfel decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he desires power and/or immortality
