History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Valorean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Valorean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
