History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Bathin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.
