Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Helen's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: He dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: This dark-skinned male dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Manfred took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Apothecary for the past few years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and wants to open a new tavern
