History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melissa grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Gomory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gomory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
