Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Elaim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Elaim was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Elaim's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: An older man who wears light armors faded through time and improper care, he is not a threatening figure. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the left. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Taklinn hails from a village terrorized by goblins. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Taklinn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her black fur is smooth and relatively long. Her skin is flawless and her blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Edge hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Edge was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Edge alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she wants revenge against dire rats

Description: 4'8" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Her yellow fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tree grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tree. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
