He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the west to a Banker, Heian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has achieved small success as a Banker.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is an amazing painter.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is greedy; and money/treasure

Description: This younger middle-aged woman is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest, and a wedding ring on her right hand. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is unsatisfied with her job
