History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Layabout. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. After coming to the age of reason, Rose took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

History: Quarion hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he seems to be bored by most things
