Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Mindartis has worked very hard to control his curse. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Mindartis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. Her long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born in the west. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Meriele was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She tends to her Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact
