History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Kali was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Kali's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Kali never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Skirt lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Alice was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now owns her own business.

She wears dull tan sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed rapier, just in case. She sports a flattop hair cut. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and many illithids want her driven away
