History: Roger was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
