History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Baradad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
