History: He comes from a rich northern family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Bookbinder like her father before her.

History: Born to a Beggar, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Beggar. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
