History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gormogord was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
