History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Artin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Artin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city.
