Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. A true patriot, Oskar would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He became a Detective soon after.

Personality: Arannis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, white shirt, and pastel tie. He has moderate length white crest. His fierce gold eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kerkad was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He wears a white shirt with thin blue vertical stripes and violet pants, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'2" when asserting himself. He has shaved his head bald. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Vlorn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
