Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Shifting is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shifting alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and a deep hatred of brigands
