History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has worked as a Navigator like her father before her.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover her moderate length blonde hair. Her eyes are likewise green. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Vola is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she wants revenge against brigands

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, marred by sweets. His hair is white and curly. He is baby faced.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Baz was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: A 4'10" western man, he wears a worn and beaten armor. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job
