Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Philomena isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a rapier on his belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'10" when asserting himself. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Engraver profession.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His childhood dream was to be a Engraver, but he was a colossal failure. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a brown shirt with thin black vertical stripes and tan pants, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her orange fur is thinning but still full. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
