He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has a long black beard with little hanging trinkets. Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Oppleby hails from a village terrorized by drow. After coming to the age of reason, Oppleby took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oppleby fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and many drow want him driven away

Personality: She is a Ruler first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.
