History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carpenter and was forced into it by her family; and wants to raise her children well
