History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ghash grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ghash. He became a Guard soon after.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
