His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed kukri, just in case. Her red fur is lengthy. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a black coat with brown slacks. Her hair is long and chestnut with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small white clips. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She is physically well-built. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Rohesia lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Scribe, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and an old rival family wants her found
