Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. In her youth she was a Crown-heir, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Shax was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Fisher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fisher work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Fisher for hire.
