History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Eleanor alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Cora and her spouse have recently divorced.
