History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and wants to raise his children well

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She is renowned for her bright tan dresses and hats. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
