Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears tan trousers with blue and tan striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Cumpen is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Cumpen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His hair is silver and very short. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and many goblins want him driven away

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Suhnae is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Suhnae lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kelter embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Kelter was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
