History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gardain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Soapmaker. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shipwright for hire.
