History: Cloak hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Cloak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Leshanna was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
