History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting gnolls, the young Saphara began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She got into the Detective business at a young age. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She became a Detective soon after.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Peren was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
