History: Nedda was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Stableman for the past few years.

History: Abad hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Abad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east to a Ploughman, Gimble learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
