Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a kukri on his belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'5" when asserting himself. His rusty crest has been sun bleached extensively. He has gleaming, smiling gold eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rivaan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Rivaan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
