Through the years after Baern was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Junk Dealer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
