History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a Mercenary, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: Valafar hails from a village terrorized by orcs. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and a deep hatred of orcs

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Orc, and stands approximately 5'8". She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and her gloved hand is found clutching a rapier. Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. She has amber eyes and a white hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: She is a Laborer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Nella was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has worked as a Laborer like her mother before her.
