History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Nora hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
