History: Gaaki was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Shava was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: He wears blue painted combat armor at almost all times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'3" when asserting himself. He wears a colorful flower in his black hair. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kellen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. After a long history of fighting, Kellen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
